Luis Saguar

Luis Saguar (October 6, 1957 – July 8, 2009) was an American actor of theatre and films, writer and professor. He worked in a variety of roles, which included wise elders and addicts and buddies of strange behaviors. He was also co-founder of Campo Santo, the theater company at Intersection for the Arts. He is specially known for his work in ''8mm'', ''Fun with Dick and Jane'', and ''Flawless'' and as one of the corrupt lawyer brothers of the world premiere of Octavio Solis's landmark "Santos & Santos".
==Biography==
Saguar was born in San Francisco, California, but he was raised in Daly City, California. He had three siblings, Pablo Saguar, Frank Arambarri and Gloria Flore. During adolescence, fell into the world of drugs and at 15, he was jailed for participating in a robbery. He began his acting career when he was almost 30 years. In 2001, he published his work "Angulo hotel", in which he spoke of the world of the streets, explaining issues such as drugs and street crime, in which he had been involved.
He acted on many Bay Area stages, in places such as Thick Description, Campo Santo, Magic Theatre, American Conservatory Theater, TheatreWorks and El Teatro Campesino. He acted in Theatre works as Shakespeare and Sartre. He also participated in some 20 films, among them ''The Zodiac'' and ''Fun with Dick and Jane'', as well as many TV shows (''The Shield'', ''Nash Bridges'', ''Midnight Caller''). Saguar died in July 8, 2009 at Seton Medical Center in Daly City, at the age of 52.〔(SFGate: Luis Saguar, S.F. stage and film actor, dies ).
